  • I am a HR manager and I want to assess my candidates. How should I start using SkillMagic's services ?
  • Please send a mail to info@skillmagic.com specifying the area(s) you need assessments for. You will be given a username and password with which you can login to the site and start using its services.
  • What are the available assessment areas ?

  • How much does it cost to use SkillMagic assessment service ?
  • SkillMagic's services are charged on the number of tests taken by the number of tests you create. Each test has a specific pricing. Needless to say, SkillMagic's assessment service is the most economical third party skills assessment service. On an average, each test costs around 3USD to 5 USD.
  • I may use SkillMagic's assessment services in bulk. Do I get a discount ?
  • Bulk volume discounts will be offered. Please contact info@skillmagic.com specifying your requirement.
  • What are the payment methods ?
  • Currently, the payment method is by Cheque. We will be incorporating payment by Credit card in the coming future
  • How are the tests taken ?
  • Tests shall be created online and test takers shall take the test online.
  • What are the minimum system requirements for a test taker ?
  • Any computer with a browser and access to internet. In addition, Adobe flash plugin is needed to take the test.
  • When do I get the result of a potential employer who has taken the test ?
  • The result will be available as soon as he completes taking his test.
  • I need assessment service in a particular area which is not available. What can I do about it ?
  • Please send an email to info@skillmagic.com specify your requirement. You will be informed about the feasilbility of creating a new assessment area
  • Will SkillMagic share the data of my potential employees ?
  • No. Period. SkillMagic keeps all the data of its customers in utmost confidentiality and does not share it to anyone unless it is required under the law.
  • I don't want to use SkillMagic's server for my assessments. Can I have my own server in my organisation ?
  • As an organisation you can buy the SkillMagic test suite and install it on your machines. This calls for a variable pricing scheme and any updates to the question bank will not be available to your organisation.
  • Once I create a test, if the candidate does not complete the test, will I be charged for that test ?
  • No. Incomplete tests will not be charged.
  • What if the candidate loses internet connectivity while writing the test ?
  • The test will be paused at the question where connectivity was lost. Once connectivity is restored, the candidate has to relaunch the test. The test will resume from the position where it stopped.
